Yoga
Each day, you will have the opportunity to enjoy multiple yoga classes, combining a mixture of energising and restorative sessions before ending each day with the ultimate in relaxation: Yoga Nidra or a healing sound journey.
Our yoga classes are suitable for all levels and experience - beginners are most welcome. Natalie's Yoga is an alignment based practice loosely based on the Iyengar style. This just means a great focus is put on safety and finding the correct version of a pose for your body. It's a very accommodating with the use of props to make postures accessible to all.
Before each retreat, you'll get the chance to privately discuss your ability and any specific health concerns with Natalie, ensuring that each class is carefully adapted for all. Find out more about Natalie, and the alignment based Yoga she shares.
Yoga sessions will take place in the Swallows Nest, a beautiful old Devon barn with a log burner set high up on the coastline outside Salcombe, or on the cliff tops over looking the sea.

Hike
The world famous South West Coast Path is just a stone throw from our retreat base at East Soar Farm. Each day, after a nourishing freshly squeezed juice, yoga and breakfast, we'll pull on our hiking boots and trek across the rolling fields and dramatic cliff tops of South Devon.
We're always armed with thermos flasks and healthy snacks, offering plenty of opportunities for warming refreshments in hidden coves, sheltered amongst the rocks and caves of some of Devon's finest beaches.
Everyday, we'll hike up to 5 miles or more, enjoying a leisurely pace that allows plenty of time for snacks, drinks and photos. The coastal path is quite rugged in places, so we recommend bringing decent hiking shoes, a sturdy backpack and some waterproofs should the weather turn against us.

Swim, Paddle
For the adventurous among us, there will be an opportunity for a memorable and invigorating wild swimming experience at a beautiful small cove, as well as the chance to try out paddleboarding.
At Yoga Field & Sea we dip in the ocean every day, all year round, to take advantage of the many health benefits cold water offers our minds and bodies.
During your stay, we'll visit some of the most beautiful secluded beaches in the country, such as Soar Mill Cove, Starehole Bay and North Sands beach in Salcombe.
Led by our certified team of water sports experts, our ocean activities always begin with a safety briefing before heading into the revitalising salt water. We provide hooded towels and flasks of hot tea, both essential for the post swim warm-up. You can find out more about the team here.

Location
This South Devon retreat is set in the backdrop of some of the UK's most stunning scenery. Tucked a short walk inland from the cliff-tops that dominate Salcombe harbour, we'll be the only group staying at National Trust's East Soar Farm.
Surrounded by farm animals and endless green fields, East Soar offers a true rural escape from the trappings of the modern world.
We will spend the weekend practicing energising and restorative Yoga as well as hiking along the spectacular South West coast path, which is right on our doorstep.
We'll also make the most of stunning local beaches and coves for life-affirming wild swims and, for those who wish to, an introduction to paddleboarding.

Getting Here
East Soar Outdoor Experience, East Soar, Devon, TQ7 3DR
One of the beauties of South Devon and our retreat location is its remote nature. A little investment in time is needed to get here! Depending on where you are coming from, the fastest route might be by train. The train ride as you leave Exeter and pass Dawlish and Teignmouth is stunning.
Advance train tickets are great value, just book your ticket to Totnes. There is a train from Paddington just after 1pm, arriving at around 3.45pm. We will put you in touch with taxis (and other guests) to help organise your journey from Totnes.
Alternatively if you wish to drive, there is plenty of parking at East Soar Farm and we will provide you with detailed directions before you set off.
